Julanda Shannon
The Principal and Founder
Julanda's connection to design began years before she stepped into the profession, shaped by her European upbringing, her love of travel, and a deep curiosity for how people live. She is drawn to simplicity with soul: clean lines, organic materials, and spaces that feel calm, collected, and quietly intentional. Her work is guided by a sense of place, the land a home sits on, the light that moves through it, and the stories held within its surroundings.
She is an overly-passionate spirit who can't help but douse herself in any artistic challenge on the horizon. Whether installing tile, crafting furniture pieces, or sketching late into the night, she’s fueled by a hands-on, wholehearted approach to bringing ideas into form.
Since 2017, Julanda has been immersed in the world of design, specializing in highly custom residential work throughout Central Oregon. She partners closely with builders, architects, and artisans to create homes that feel thoughtful, refined, and deeply connected to the people who live in them.
Today, her studio focuses on Full Service Interior Design - from ground-up custom builds to complete furnishings and whole-home transformations. Her work is known for its layered details, warm materiality, and a quiet kind of luxury that endures with time.
